Great location for getting away from the hustle and bustle of today's life - out in the countryside. Very lovely host, helpful when required - which was not at all due to everything you required being to hand. Both children loved the heated pool - very relaxing after a day of sight seeing. Lovely, unspoilt view from the pool could easily take you back a few hundred years - green filed and trees to see for miles. The cottage is central to many areas to visit and is only a short few miles from a shopping area and supermarket, although only a few hundred meters from the cottage was a nice store for day to day items. Well worth a visit again.

Bugatti House is an upside-down house/cottage with the two bedrooms and the bathroom downstairs, and the kitchen/diner and living-room upstairs. The two bedrooms were large, comfy beds, found it cooler downstairs. Bathroom was large, complete with shampoo, shower gel, bar of soap and loo roll. Complete set of towels were included. Kitchen had absolutely everything you would need and plenty of it, also has a dishwasher - with tablets provided. Washing-up liquid, cloths, teatowels, cleaning stuff all provided. Also had sugar, teabags, cakes, and some milk in the fridge on arrival - really nice touch. Dining set seated four. Living-room was comfy, cushions everywhere, bookcase full of books, monopoly, cards, and some other games, TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Log-burner fire which we did not need. Double patio doors led onto a large decked balcony complete with wooden table and chairs to seat four, plus two wooden loungers, plus two wooden three-seater benches, plus parasol. All furniture had cushions found in the cupboard under the stairs. The balcony was a USP for us, used it every day in the fabulous weather we had. The other USP was the outdoor swimming pool, great size, clean, my son and I used it every day and had it to ourselves! Bunty was the perfect hostess, leaving us in peace most of the time, but on hand if we needed anything. The house also had another space downstairs, with the washing machine (washing powder/pods and fabric conditioner in the cupboard under the stairs) and a settee and chair for if you wanted to chill out somewhere different. Outside there is plenty of parking space, and room for one car directly by the front door and under cover underneath the big balcony. There's a field to walk the dog (or let it off if you want to) and also the lane/drive in to the property - very quiet and safe. Alongside the property is the small airstrip and we saw the plane taking off twice while we were there - it's literally at the end of the pool! If you want a photo you need to be quick. Our holiday was just what we needed, time to relax, doss, catch our breath and chill. The nearest town is Ledbury about six miles - has a Tesco and some quaint shops. Petrol is really dear there though so fill up before you get there! Can't really fault the holiday at all and the couple of things we didn't like were nothing to do with the property at all... 1. There were loads of flies about, and I was bitten to bits by small insects - bring some fly-spray and stuff to spray yourself with - this is the countryside after all. 2. The last mile or so of the drive in to the property in SINGLE LANE roads with precious little passing spaces - so be warned - drive extra slow, and beep the horn at every blind corner - a bit hairy when we met oncoming traffic and had to reverse back round a bendy, strange road. Just thought I'd mention that, but don't let it put you off, we'd go back again despite that!! Nearly forgot to mention, the place was spotless too!

Excellent place to relax and chill out. Struggled with the water for showers a d the Wi-Fi but other than that perfect. Definately go back and the Indian at the bottom of the lane was to die for.

What an amazing holiday cottage. Everything we needed was here. Bunty, the owner was lovely and helpful. We stayed for four nights with our pet dog and had a lovely time. I will be returning again.

We absolutely loved this cottage, it's one of the best we have ever stayed in (and we've stayed in many). The cottage is fairly remote, but the countryside, views and peace and quiet are so relaxing. The kitchen is extremely well equipped but if you don't fancy cooking there are several pubs that serve food within a few miles. The cottage is upside down so you can see the fields from the sitting area and the bedrooms are downstairs. We were three days late to the cottage due to the snow but we are so glad we didn't cancel. The owner, Bunty, was really helpful and phoned us everyday with the weather and travel update. When we arrived the heating was on and the log burner all set up ready to light. It was warm and cosy. Despite the snow we had a great few days, there's plenty to see and do in the area. We enjoyed Hereford, Malvern and Ledbury, and there's plenty of walking opportunities. We chose this cottage due to the excellent reviews and they were all accurate, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and hope to come again soon.

Fabulous in every way. Snowed in for 5 days and no electric for several hours on the Monday. Owners very helpful bring extra logs for wood burner and gas stoves for cooking. Peaceful bliss. Booking again for next December.
