Description

Explore the fabulous scenery of the Cardigan Coast, bays, villages and market towns, an ideal area for outdoor enthusiasts.

With views across the countryside, and many beautiful beaches, bays, villages and interesting market towns to visit, Bryneirin makes a wonderful base from which to enjoy and explore the fabulous scenery of Ceredigion and the Heritage coastline of Cardigan Bay. Bryneirin is a spacious and comfortable single-storey holiday property with a large well-kept garden and the owner’s resident pony, Rosie, in the neighbouring paddock!
Within a short drive you can explore the unspoilt beaches and coves such as Penbryn, Cei Bach and Cwmtydu, once a haven for smugglers, where in late summer, you may see Atlantic grey seals with their pups. The nearby quaint coastal town of New Quay offers not only the beach and boat trips, but has an array of shops and eateries to enjoy, or you can just sample an ice cream, sit on the harbour wall and watch out for the Bottlenose dolphins which are regular visitors to this area. The colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron is a mere 20-minute drive and also offers an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes, and a delightful level walk, suitable for bikes and pushchairs, to the National Trust property of Llanerchaeron, an 18th-century Welsh gentry estate.
For those visitors who enjoy outdoor pursuits there is a canoeing centre and fishing available in Llandysul, approximately 5 miles away. Fly and coarse fishing, as well as golfing, are available in Lampeter. Also within reasonable driving distance are the interesting towns of Carmarthen, Cardigan and Aberystwyth. Shop and pub 1 mile.

We had a wonderful week in Wales! The cottage was beautiful, location excellent, and quiet! The weather was fantastic, we were able to visit coastal locations, and National Trust places with ease. Helen was very attentive, but not overly. Would recommend to anyone who asks.

We had another great week in Bryneirin. Where else can you go on holiday and have a resident horse, Rosie, to feed every day with apples and carrots. Also Helen and Keith are such a delightful couple who make you feel so welcome. Thanks again, and hope to see you all very soon.

The bungalow is a great place to stay.Warm ,roomy and nicely situated in its own large gardens with views of open country . Lovely to return to in the late afternoon after a day out.Had a great week with good weather. Spent most days with our grandkids on the beach at New Quay and Aberporth. Aberaeron and Aberystwyth are within easy driving distance. Would recommend to all.
