Bryn Dedwydd is a lovely cottage in a scenic location adjacent to the home of its friendly helpful owners. We would recommend this cottage unreservedly.

The cottage was cosy and very well equipped. The owners were extremely helpful - providing a lovely welcome pack of food and lots of information about the area - including maps and walk details. They even checked mid week that we had all we needed which is unusual. We have stayed at one or two cottages a year for over 30 years and this was one of the best. We were able to do 3 major walks of over 10 miles from the cottage as well as others nearby and visiting the castles of the border area. There are lots of shorter walks in the area too. The only added bonus would have been a safe way of walking to the village pub in the evening!

Lovely comfortable cottage in which we immeditately felt at home. Everything (eg, TV, WiFi, shower and kitchen appliances) was of good quality and worked well. Lots of local information is provided and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed watching the birds feeding in the garden while eating our meals. The location is ideal for walking in the Clwydian Hills - we did five circular walks each taking in a section of Offa's Dyke path with its fantastic views - but also good for visiting other places such as Chester and Erddig (a National Trust property). It really is very good!

Homely cottage with excellent views in a marvelous rural setting. The owners live next door and are not only very friendly give excellent advice on the surrounding area. This is quiet backwater where you will feel at peace just as soon as you have unpacked after your journey. If you have booked for just a week you'll be wishing you had stayed a bit longer. A lot of the guests return which is a really good recommendation of any accommodation.
