What a lovely barn, had everything we needed and more. Great in closed garden for the dog which she loved. Very good standard of everything we needed in the barn. Would definitely come again, and was very lucky to have great weather.

A delightful cottage in a most peaceful location. Would highly recommend this property and will definitely return. The only slight disappointment was the size of the fridge and the location of freezer(in outdoor shed), but that was probably due to a weekly supermarket delivery. A very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage otherwise.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your review and the lovely comments in our visitor book. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and plan to return. I am sorry that the fridge in the kitchen may not be as big as you are used to. However it is a standard size built in integrated fridge of 125L capacity including the freezer compartment. The freezer which is situated in the shed adjacent to the barn garden is a standard size freezer which is for the sole use of the guests at the barn. The shed also houses the sun loungers, barbecue equipment etc. all of which are for the guests use.

Excellent barn conversion with everything you need. Owners extremely helpful and on-site for any queries. Lots of little extras included. Well situated for attractions in the area. Best cottage I've stayed in by far.

First visit to Broad oak Barn but will definitely visit again. The owner's have shown a thoughtful attention to detail even including dog treats and bowls/blankets for my pet which is rare and was greatly appreciated. High standard of cleanliness throughout and peaceful surroundings, safe enclosed garden suitable for pets, Wendy & Chuck were warm welcoming hosts which made for a very relaxing pre Christmas break.

The cottage was very tastefully furnished and was more spacious than we expected with all the comforts of home. Best feature was the log burner but it was all pretty perfect including a lovely peaceful setting.

A lovely cottage to stay in. The owners have put a lot of thought into providing their visitors with everything that they need but then have gone further in their thoughts by ensuring that the accommodation is not only comfortable but by choice of decorative items a pleasure to be in.
