The cottage was tidy and clean, dogfriendly ,but the garden is unsecured. Its very quiet on this location. There are several reviews about the road to this cottage how bad it is. Please fill up the worst holes! Although mentioned, wifi is recommened because of the poor network. The information map about cottage and region is summary and an update is required

We had trouble with our car ,tyres due to road down to cottage

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Particularly bad weather had caused a hollow to appear in the track - this has now been resolved. However the track remained passable at all times with care. Customers are reminded when booking that we are located via a track.

Lovely stay, even in the snow, but didn't realise it was quite so far down a very pot holey track/ bridle path. Website says about low cars and gulleys but not about how unmade it is for a non 4x4.? Have to straddle huge holes and made worse in snow /icy conditions. Had to leave car at top in nature reserve car park and walk with bags uphill. Owners very helpful with offering to carry bags and know weather was unusually adverse the weekend we were there. Am sure in spring/summer it is easier access to cottage. Having said this, it was a beautiful , clean, spacious cottage, and we would definitley visit again. Only thing missing, possibly because I'm used to one, a dishwasher?

A lovely presented property in a quiet secluded spot. The access lane is a bit tricky to negotiate but you do get used to it after a few times. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The wood burner is great and adds the cosy feel to the place. There was plenty of space for us in the living areas and the shower was nice and powerful too.
