Fantastic location IF you want peace and quiet. Cottage is really nice but there is very little in the area. Fishing, walking and chilling out. No shops and the nearest pub is 9 miles away.

Exceeded my expectations. Many thanks to the owners for the care, comfort and detail which made the break hugely enjoyable.

Wonderful little cottage, very remote village. We had a bit of an adventure due to Dillon so its definitelya place to visit with full preparation.

Miles from anywhere - and all the better for it. So very quiet and remote - an 18 mile round trip to the shop or pub means that staying in is the only sensible choice. If you're looking for a retreat, this is it. If you're looking to bag a Munro, there's one in the back garden. If you're into walking the area has a few paths, but it's not mainstream by any means. Not a top area for mountain biking, but you could easily explore Loch Hourn and Knoydart - seen from the living room window - from here, as there's a landing just outside. Don't forget the logs or coal, that fire will be burning constantly, as it's a little damp inside the property, but very comfortable once there's a fire lit.

Just simply an amazing location. Only criticism is that the bathroom is very dated.

Brilliant location with plenty of wildlife on the doorstep. Very remote location so the nearest shop and pub are 9 miles away, via a single track road.
