This lovely and quaint, detached cottage is located in the tiny village of Rhulen, a perfect spot for walkers, cyclists or those who are just looking to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The open plan living area has a fabulous wood burner to keep you cosy on cooler evenings, and outside there is a large enclosed garden which is great for letting the kids and dogs run around. There are outstanding views and walks on the moorland hills above the cottage.
The market town of Builth Wells, 9 miles, hosts plenty of attractions at the Royal Welsh Showground throughout the year. The literary town of Hay-on-Wye, 10 miles, has an abundance of book shops, coffee shops and boutiques. It makes a lovely day out for all the family, not forgetting the Hay Festival with lots of fabulous guest speakers and entertainment to be had.
Brecon Beacons National Park is 23 miles away and for those of you looking for a challenge, then climb Pen-y-Fan and admire the fantastic views from the top.
There is great newly installed Wi-Fi at the property, ideal if you want to get away from it all, but also there is a payphone. Shop 8 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
