Within a short drive you can visit Swanage where you can take a trip on the restored steam railway which will make for a historic day out. There is a wealth of attractions nearby including the National Trust Corfe Castle, Arne Nature Reserve, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Dorset Waterpark, the UNESCO Jurassic Coast and the beaches at Studland, Swanage and Kimmeridge Bay. From Studland you can get the ferry to Poole and Bournemouth which has been voted as having the UKs best beach. Monkey World and the Tank Museum are also nearby. Beach 2¼ miles.
