Overall our stay was lovely, the location is a let down as it’s right next to a busy road and no way of getting anywhere unless you drive. We all drove but there are no pubs/restaurants close by so you have to drive.

A pleasant stay although not practical for us with regard to the downstairs bathroom. Great if you're downstairs, but a bit of a trek if you sleep in the double room at night, as one is above the other, so you have to walk the full length of the cottage twice. Not any good if you're slightly incapacitated. The stairs being wooden are noisy & steep so care must be taken & the beds were uncomfortable, although if you like a hard bed, you'll be ok. My partner slept on the sofa. Didn't want to put food in a couple of the kitchen cupboards as the smell of damp was strong. We did have wifi for a couple of days & then didn't have it again after that. Got a lovely 'Welcome pack' & the owners were helpful.
