Very warm welcome from Mary and Lyn. Nicest people you will ever meet. Friendly and accommodating. Log burner was lovely, bath was delightful and the location quiet. The kitchen was well equipped, and the crisp fresh laundered bedding was a real home from home touch. Thank you Mary and Lyn for making us feel so welcome and the fresh towels mid week!

Was disappointed that there was no WiFi for our entire stay and it didn't seem that the owners were too bothered. It was also very difficult for us to make a log fire with damp wood as like most people, we don't have any experience in this. We ended up going to buy dry fire wood from the Co-Op. The lack of gas central heating meant the cottage was quite cold my the time it was morning. Otherwise, it was generally clean and the bathroom was nice with a decent shower.
