Blythswood is a fantastic property for anyone who wishes to holiday in the western highlands area of Scotland. It is ideally placed for visiting the Ardnamurchan peninsula, Ben Nevis, the West Highland railway with the Jacobite train which runs along the boundary of the property, with the Glenfinnan viaduct a 15 minute walk away, Loch Ness, and even the Isles of Mull and Skye. The house is spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with good Internet connectivity. It's slight remoteness means that there is the likelihood to see various wildlife visiting the property; in our case this included a very handsome young stag. The views from the house are spectacular and uninterrupted. We would love to return to this property and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely house, beautiful location. Great for the steam train. Visited Mallaig, Glen Nevis, Oban, Fort Augustus, Drumnadrochit, Fort William etc etc Nice walks by the viaduct and loch House fully equipped with everything you could think of. Only downside was the midges definitely need bug repellent in the summer months.
