The problems with the cooker remain as mentioned in previous reviews. My main concern was that the igniter was broken. This meant that to light the oven it was necessary to open the oven door and reach in with manual igniter whilst keeping the gas flowing. The kettle also leeks from spout. Frying pan has a very wobbly handle. EVERYTHING else was lovely. The cottage is situated at the front of a holiday park. Amazing birds wander about and the rare ones are kept with great affection within a private garden. At night you can sit by the burn, listen to the wildlife and watch as the sky darkens. Such a peaceful and calming place. The photo of the bathroom showed a bath but there is now a large walk in shower. I'm sure that with a new cooker kettle and fry pan this would be rated excellent.

Cottage not such good value as others I have booked recently. There were no towels supplied which was a surprise. The gas oven and hob a little tired. The gas grill went out if you litva gas ring on the hob. Kettle seemed to be leaking from split in the spout. The bathroom suite was excellent and hot water in demand via a combi boiler. The secure patio was very handy for the two dogs I had with me. The coop was a short walk away as were two hotels and a pub. Plenty of car parking All in all I would rate as ok but not excellent

Had a fantastic stay in Farne Cottage. It had everything you needed to feel at home. Owners were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely little village close to some beautiful beaches.
