The county town of Taunton is just 9 miles away or take in the ancient Isle of Avalon and imposing Tor at Glastonbury, followed by some retail therapy at Clarks Village Shopping Outlet. Shops and pubs serving food are within 1½ miles in Nether Stowey, home of Samuel Taylor Coleridge (National Trust). Beach 4 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
