Had a lovely week away staying in this lovely property, plenty of space for 8 of us plus a baby. The kids had plenty to keep them busy with games that were provided in the house they also had some of there own as we didn't know they were provided!! The house is very comfortable and cosy especially with the log burner in the evening. The only downside was the boiler is close to the main bedroom window & if you had the heating on at bedtime it was a bit noisy!!! There was 5 remote controls for the tv/dvd player but none of them were for the TV or DVD player that was there. The utility area light wasn't working but there was a lamp provided but it really does need fixed as it was very dark in there at night time. Other than that it was fantastic, we would highly recommend it and we can't wait to come back again...... let's hope this time it snows!!!!!

Bidean Lodge looked fabulous on the website, and in person it was even better. I took my two teenage foster sons, their friend and my parents for a week away, and the house was comfortably spacious for all of us to feel like it was home for a week, rather than being under each others feet in a pokey little log cabin. My parents took one double bedroom, I had the other double bedroom, two of my lads shared a twin room, and my other lad had the second twin room to himself. Bathroom facilities were split up, and the lads had a bathroom, my parents wanted the shower room, and I had the en suite. In the living room there is a big dining table that seated us all very comfortably. The living area was also very spacious, with enough room for me to work (I own my own business so had to), my parents had enough room to read their books and the three lads had enough room to play cards, or some of the selection of board games that were at the cottage. There is also a flat screen TV at the cottage, but we made use of that once. There is no WIFI in the cottage, which is a downside for me, as I needed to still connect to work, but it was also a plus as the three teenage lads had to go “old school” from an entertainment point of view such as cards and board games. Thankfully no mind numbing social media for them, and I managed to get a good enough mobile signal to use my tethering hotspot. Personally I would keep the cottage without WIFI so it was good for everyone to take a break from the internet and social media accounts. The kitchen is a good size with all pots, pans, cutlery and crockery that you would need. There is also a very handy utility room that we used to dry our hiking gear in. Bidean Lodge is also located in a large amount of grounds, with plenty of parking, and plenty of grassed space, which even though it rained, we still managed one or two games of football. Bidean Lodge is located opposite the start of the hike to the Pap of Glencoe, the pub is not far down the road, and the village is about a ten minute walk away. There is everything that you could need. In all everyone in our party enjoyed their week away, and we were sad when we had to leave. It is a place where we would certainly return to again.

Have stayed here 3 times with family, friends and our dog. We loved every minute of our holidays here. Cosy, clean and warm. Private and very secure for our dog. Yes it could do with updating here and there but hopefully like us your using this as a base and enjoying the wonderful things glencoe and Scotland has to offer. We will be back.
