Superbly clean and comfortable cottage with plenty of space. Mattress in the main bedroom could do with replacing and we did miss having a smart tv for cosy evenings!! But this really is a wonderful property in a fabulous location and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Bert’s cottage was ideal for our needs as our terrier has recently become blind and we wanted somewhere that she would be comfortable and safe - which the cottage was. Fully enclosed garden which was also very private and pleasant to sit in. Very clean on arrival, nice welcome pack (including wine) and actually a bit larger than expected. Main bedroom especially good. Convenient to get to New Forest, South Coast and Dorset so we had a good time exploring new areas. Very good instructions from owner to locate cottage. Good places to eat within walking distance but we ate in for half the week and the cottage was well equipped for our needs. All in all, a very good holiday.

Lovely cottage. Much better than expected. We had a great stay in this very clean and well equiped cottage. Nice and big rooms, lovely things to look at (lots of painting and pictures), very comfortable beds. The highstreet with shops is nearby and so is the New Forest. We will certainly return.
