The bungalow is huge and easily big enough for 4 couples. Everything you need is in the house, my only negative was the septic tanks left the bathrooms a bit smelly.

Super property in a great location. The property itself is bright, spacious and very well equipped. The living space is large and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Great location just off the A75 so very easy to get to lots of local tourist attractions. Great communication and the best visitor instructions I’ve every come across!

Lovely cottage. Few things on the description that are no longer in the house I.e. tv in bedroom and a second fridge freezer. As there was 7 adults one fridge and a tiny freezer isn't sufficient. Can't complain though. Place is beautiful.

This cottage helped us to make the decision to never rent a holiday cottage again and go back to hotel accommodation in the future. Our first impressions were favourable as it all looks pleasing to the eye, but the beds are unbelievably uncomfortable, which caused us to have to get up at 3 am with aching backs and go lie on the sofas instead. The water is not hot enough for a bath, so only showering is possible, but when the bed has made your back hurt, a hot bath would give some welcome relief. The shower tray I tried using didn't have an anti-slip mat and no shelf for the soap or shampoo and I considered it to be dangerous. The door locks are very difficult to lock and unlock and the back door only opens half way. The crockery has seen better days, with the glazing badly scraped by previous users and we considered the plates unhygienic to use. We went home a day early because we were fed up of feeling uncomfortable and tired through lack of sleep. This cottage was the straw that broke the camels back!

Bengali is a marvellous holiday house in an excellent location close to the A75 which connects so well to the beautiful scenery of the Dumfries and Galloway area. The ground floor facilities were important for my elderly mother, but the claim to have 'some disabled facilities' is a bit tenuous. None of the showers were suitable with no grab rails or trays to hold shampoo/soap. The house is spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen/dining area is amazing! and the decking area at the rear is lovely in the early morning, particularly as our weather was great.

Very enjoyable stay at Bengali, the cottage was superb, lots of space for the whole family, no complaints at all.
