We have stayed at Belmont House several times. We had a slight problem with a water leak this time, but it was sorted very quickly. The grandchildren were made welcome at the village shop and we made a couple of visits to the pub 5 minutes along the road.

Although local ammenities was low there was a Post Office/shop and a pub. But some may want more. Location beautiful and well situated for visiting other places. Beautiful features in house and we found it cosy still although spacious rooms.

We like Belmont House because it is quite close to where my daughter lives. Having tried other places to stay in the area, I think Belmont comes closest to meeting all our needs - i.e. Grandparents (me) daughter and grandchildren. I can visit the pub and have a drink by walking there so don't have to drive. Tesco do online order delivery so we can plan what we need and get it delivered after we arrive. The only thing that might be improved is to provide internet access, which, while not essential, is nice to have. There is a useful small shop less than 5 minutes walk.

A beautiful house within easy reach of a huge number of visitor attractions. Knowledgeable and friendly host who was easily contactable. The only potential improvement would be the provision of internet access however we were aware of this on booking and so this is not a criticism just a suggestion for the future perhaps.
