The house was delightful, tastefully furnished in the Georgian period. There was plenty of crockery and utensils. There was lots of room for everyone to enjoy the space and it was very peaceful. We tried one of the local pubs and had a delicious Sunday lunch at a reasonable price. The locals were friendly. I would recommend this house for a family or a group of people wanting a place to relax and unwind. The garden was big and we enjoyed sitting out as the weather was good.

We have stayed at Belmont House several times. We had a slight problem with a water leak this time, but it was sorted very quickly. The grandchildren were made welcome at the village shop and we made a couple of visits to the pub 5 minutes along the road.
