A lovely local pub and good enclosed garden, this cottage is ideally placed for walkers. The cottage itself is lived-in and shabby in places, the bathroom is particularly tired. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept well here. The stairs to the bedroom and bathroom upstairs are steep so I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who struggles with mobility. Regardless we had a good break here and the owner was responsive to some feedback I shared during our stay.

We had a lovely week at Belle Vue, its very cosy and warm, and spotlessly clean. It has a sweet little garden, perfect for relaxing in. Our only recommendation would be for a shower, even one positioned over the bath would be helpful. Overall, a lovely cottage, and in such a beautiful place.

This is a great little cozy cottage in an amazing location. We could walk from our doorstep through miles of magnificent countryside. The local pub across the green has great food. The cottage has everything you need and a great kitchen. The one thing the place would benefit from is a shower. Would definitely stay there again.

Cosy cottage , great value for money in a amazing location. Only down point , would suggest installation of a shower above bath.

Cosy cottage. Amazingly comfortable bed. Steep staircase could be a problem if you have mobility problems. Garden not fully enclosed and it is not clear whether the garden extends to behind the neighbouring property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you want a quiet, comfortable bolt-hole, it is ideal.
