The small quaint village of Binstead lies just 1 mile away, whilst Ryde the islands largest town is only 2 miles, offering a large selection of restaurants, pubs, marina and a pier, where the high speed passenger ferry to Portsmouth is located. The long stretch of beach also boasts many cafés, a play area and ten pin bowling. There are many other places of interest to visit on the island, such as Queen Victoria’s home, Osborne House, the Blackgang Chine, Appeley Park and Carisbrooke Castle. The best things about this bungalow were the wild life and location. There were red squirrels in the garden! The location was great with fields on two sides, it was lovely & quiet. The problem with it was it felt like the owner had just left, leaving behind all their belongings. It was very dusty, with lots of spiders & cobwebs!

No electric shower and smart tv, sofa not comfortable. The conservatory needed repair and overgrown could not shut doors and windows. Welcome pack could be better nothing but a bar of chocolate and bottle of wine milk and bread would be appreciated more.

Fantastic location and lovely owner. The cottage is let down by the ancient, rock hard and very squeaky bed (couldn't turn over without waking each other) and both had sore backs by day three. Lots of cobwebs above eye level, but below that was clean. Great garden and views! Need side tables in the lounge - had to put coffee/tea mugs on the floor which wasn't great with two dogs (caffeine is toxic to dogs).

The property was not very clean in certain areas, blinds, curtains had mould on them, also the washing machine needed cleaning. The Master Bed collapsed due to missing bolts on both left side legs. Visitors with dogs, be aware the boundary is not fenced on two sides on the back garden, and the front garden hedge next to the road is not secure. We also had a picture fall down off the wall as the rail holding it came off the actual wall. Also be aware that there is no Electric shower in the bathroom as shown in the pictures for the property and that there are two small fish pools in the garden with no protection/nets on them, so watch any small children! Location was very nice, just the property needs attention to bring it back to its former self.
