A great rural escape to relax and unwind. As you approach the property, the external hand-crafted traditional stone walls immediately let you know this is a property which is much loved and of a high quality.
On the ground floor is the lounge, with a wood burner and a hand painted map of the local area for when you are planning your trips. The kitchen is fully fitted for those who enjoy preparing a home cooked meal, and a wine cooler being ideal for enjoying a chilled glass of your favourite tipple on a sunny afternoon or evening, whilst enjoying fabulous long ranging scenic views across the superb garden. There is a convenient study, downstairs toilet and a utility room leading you through to a further room which can be used as a gym or games room.
Head upstairs to find the master bedroom with a king size double bed leading through to an en-suite shower room. A further double bedroom, two single bedrooms and the family bathroom ensures that the whole family is catered for. The mainly lawned garden wraps around this detached house, the superb circular seating area and patio is ideal for alfresco dining and entertaining, fire up the BBQ for an evening dining outside, relax, and simply marvel at the great view. The beautifully constructed walls have parts which present a drop for little ones if they are exploring.
Although rural, you are a short distance from the towns of both Tavistock and Gunnislake, the latter of which during Victorian times enjoyed a strong connection to mining, although now the area is a wonderful place to visit. In the region you can discover superb walks and excursions through the beautiful Tamar Valley, the exceptional Dartmoor offers some fabulous days out. If dining is your thing, then a visit to Tavistock with numerous bars and restaurants awaits, it is well worth a visit on one of the market days. If you are looking for something for the children to enjoy, the area delivers everything from segway adventures, donkey parks, Crealy Theme Park, and Adrenalin Valley for the more adventurous. The lovely local village of Calstock is well worth a visit, you can also venture further afield to busy Plymouth or head for some of the best beaches that the UK has to offer in Cornwall.
