Beech cottage is a fabulous cottage and much bigger than we anticipated. It handled our family of six with ease (and comfort). It is comfortable, modern, well appointed and clearly well maintained. The only gripe we had about the place was it wasn't spotless when we arrived. There was hair in the bread bin, the handle on the oven was covered in something smeggy and there were crumbs under the coffee table. All that said, we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The welcome pack was a nice touch and there was tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets already there. Overall we would recommend this cottage.

Loved our holiday, everything we wanted. We had a peaceful location to relax in but close enough to visit other places

Lovely big cottage, very rural though. Despite the description it does in fact have WiFi. We were disappointed that logs were not provided for the log burner, we had to phone up to get some.

Had a great stay at Beech cottage. Cosy and warm on arrival. Approximately 4 miles from the M74 but quite remote, so may not be convient if you want to eat out every evening as restaurants were some distance. 3 bedrooms with large comfy beds . 2 bathrooms, a shower cubicle in each plus bath in main bathroom. 3 toilets. A really big kitchen , with a good range of equipment. A lovely lounge dinner with a log burner and a plentiful supply of logs. An issue with the heating towards the end of our stay and communication could have been better, and once fixed never quite regained the earlier warmth. Would be happy to stay again
