The roundhouse offers 26ft of open plan accommodation designed with everyday modern comforts and a wood burner to keep you very toasty even on those cooler evenings. Comfortably furnished and beautifully styled to offer couples a romantic retreat and a great family fun holiday. The accommodation has a kingsize bed with additional sleeping options of a double sofa bed and 2 single futon beds. There is even a well-equipped fitted kitchen to offer dining from home, and modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Dressing gowns for adults and a hairdryer are also provided. Nestled within the Broadland village of South Walsham, set in lush countryside, excellent walking and cycling that can be enjoyed from doorstep, with plenty of designated footpaths, trails and quiet country lanes surrounding. The market town of Acle, 4 miles, and Brundall, 5 miles, offer railway stations, post office, mini-market, hairdressers and local eateries. There are many good food serving pubs within the surrounding area, some of which are located alongside the river.
Jump on the train to visit the city of Norwich, or the traditional seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Norwich is 11 miles away where guests can visit the cathedral, castle museum, theatre, excellent shopping and art galleries. Wroxham, only 5½ miles away, is known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, and has waterside shops, cafés, and daily boat hire with river trips available to explore the expanse of waterways. There is an RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen and Steam Museum, 6 miles. 9-hole golf course and driving range at Blofield, 4 miles.
