Lovely cottage in a favorable position. You can explore the Old Town and the New Town without any problems. The equipment of the kitchen is on a very high standard.

Had a great break exploring Hastings and the surrounding area of the south east from this lovely old property which commands excellent westerly town, and sea views from the front rooms. Hastings is a wonderful hilly place, and for the older travellers the property is ideally placed to use the west cliff vernacular railway, which conveniently drops you onto George Street with an eclectic mix of independent shops, and eateries. Alternatively enjoy a walk down via the park and old lanes. From there you can easily explore the fishermen’s area, old town, and take a stroll along the prom. Convenient parking in front of the property, however passing some of the other parked cars on the street was tight in places...mind your alloys on larger cars.

Bay House is situated over looking the town. The location is good and near to open spaces which we liked. The house is big and had most things we needed, just no cafetiere.Parking outside was great as we noticed its hard to park everywhere. We found loads of excellent places to eat and lots to do mostly not using the car. Two negatives would be the external yard area which was a disgrace. The bins were full and both bbqs dirty. There is a table up some weed covered dirty stairs but it was old and one of the chairs broken and disguarded.what a shame as we wouldve liked to sit out.The info packs need updating the owners are missing up to date brochures and info on restaurants which we found. Some of the info in there was 2015 so just not helpful.
