There is a large living room that looks onto the patio and garden. In the fully fitted kitchen there is everything the designated chef will need, there is a small breakfast area and just next door you will find a lovely dining room, all on the ground floor. There are three bedrooms: one has a single bed with an additional pull-out single that can make a double bed, then six steps that lead up to one double bed, and a third bedroom with one twin bed.
This area is very popular for holiday visitors, and quaint Byworth is a Grade II listed area in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and boasts a well-known 17th-century inn close to the cottage, with excellent food and terraced gardens that hold spectacular views. Situated just one mile to the east of the historic market town of Petworth, described as the antique capital of the south, host to quaint coffee shops, fabulous award-winning restaurants, cosy pubs plus interior and antique shops. and where Petworth House and Gardens can be visited, other National Trust homes and gardens including West Dean Gardens, Parham House, The Weald, and Downland Open Air Museum are also worth a visit.
For those that enjoy walking or cycling, there are numerous scenic country walks locally, and the property sits in the South Downs National Park. Also within easy reach are Goodwood horse/motor racing, Fontwell, Cowdray for golf and polo, Midhurst, Arundel Castle, Wild Fowl, Wetlands Trust, and Chichester with its ornate cathedral. The beautiful beaches at The Witterings or Worthing can be reached in under half an hour.
