This bespoke architect-designed luxury home offers guests an enviable location and a very comfortable stay. Floor-to-ceiling picture windows excel at framing what can be considered one of the most beautiful views in North Wales, directly overlooking the Mawddach estuary and mountains beyond. The spacious interior provides an exceptional opportunity for a great stay on the Welsh coast. As you enter this historic property you are welcomed into a large hallway, with plenty of storage for coats, shoes, and any outdoor equipment. The open plan living area has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the valley. On the ground floor you are joined by two very comfortable en-suite double bedrooms. One, an elegant master bedroom featuring a snug kingsize bed and en-suite, the other a kingsize or twin room, also including an en-suite.

The cottage allows you to relax and take in the sense of space inside and outside in its incredible setting on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The first floor is open plan with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Mawddach valley and its well-known walking and cycling trail. Here you can rest comfortably and enjoy the view at any time – with a good read or after an adventurous day up Cader Idris, enjoying the beach at Aberdyfi, visiting the historic castle at Harlech, or exploring the traditional local town of Dolgellau.

The property has all that you need - in the well-equipped kitchen, there are plenty of appliances and utensils, and the cottage benefits from high speed fibre internet. Outside the property you will find enclosed, off-road parking, with a space allocated for one car, and additional parking a short walk away from the cottage, on a lane opposite.

From your doorstep you can walk up to Arthog Waterfalls and the stunning Cregennan lakes, along the Mawddach Trail, or over to Barmouth on the railway bridge. Historic steam trains, horseriding, mountain biking and water sports are all in the area, with sandy beaches, mountains, nature reserves, and stunning coastlines right on your doorstep. For some delightful shops, cafes and pubs, Dolgellau, steeped in Welsh history, is a short drive away. The town hosts a farmers’ market and has retained its traditional market town feel - a gem in the Snowdonia National Park. There are plenty of places to enjoy dinner and wine across the town.
