We love Ashburn cottage, and this was our 2nd stay. The views are some of the best we have encountered staying in cottages, and the peace and quiet offered here is priceless. The cottage has had some updates since we were last there. The kitchen had a massive re-vamp and the bath had been changed to a shower, plus the added convenience of another toilet being placed upstairs, which was a great help for our 4 year old. The surrounding area to the cottage is beautiful, and Eilean Donan Castle is a stones throw away. We had a minor issue with the travel cot, but this was soon rectified by the owner and cleaner, and didn't impact our holiday at all. We would recommend to all.

One of the best cottage stays we’ve had since we’ve started going to the highlands. The cottage is nice and warm and spacious and kitchen well equipped. Small issues like lack of tea towels and washing up sponge but easily overcome. Views from the cottage were superb, sat outside and had coffee looking out over the lake and mountains on a beautiful Saturday morning.

We spent Christmas week in Ashburn cottage and it was a very homely and comfortable place to spend Christmas. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking Christmas dinner and the lounge got very cosy when we lit the open fire. Best of all was the amazing view from the french windows out of the lounge. We never got bored of looking at the loch with the mountains behind. The cottage was in a quiet location which we loved but only 3 miles from the main road and access to local shops and a pub.
