Tucked between Conwy and Betws y Coed, in a quiet cul de sac, this fabulous former Coach House, built in the 1850s and now a holiday property, has been recently renovated and furnished to a high standard. Set in very attractive mature gardens within the beautiful Conwy Valley, you can enjoy views of the lush green hills while sitting by the pretty stream running along the bottom of the garden, or perhaps take an invigorating walk starting just across the road, upwards to Cadar Ifan Goch, (see the website for photos), where the far reaching views of the Conwy Valley from the summit are absolutely spectacular. You will be perfectly situated here for visiting the coastal holiday resort of Llandudno (14 miles), with its Victorian Pier, promenade, pebble beach, tramway, cable car, dry ski slope and numerous other attractions. Following the coast road from Llandudno you will find sandy beaches and more nice flat walks in the village of Rhos on Sea. The tiny church of St Trillo is nestled away on the promenade. If you have children to entertain, the Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwn Bay is a great place to spend the day. A tasty meal out is no further than the neighbouring Maenan Abbey Hotel, a mere 5 minute stroll from Abbey End. This beautiful part of north Wales has something for everyone. Shop 1½ mile, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
