This is really a lovely cottage and equipped to an extremely high standard with an exceptional welcome pack. The bed and settee were lovely and comfortable and the high quality appliances were a pleasure to use. It was very hot while we were there, but the cottage stayed nice and cool inside. It does not have any shops etc on the doorstep, but we went there to walk and there is a lovely country walk from the door up the hill and down the other side to Kirkburton which has a lovely high street with everything you need including coffee shops. When you have finished you can do the circular route by the church, up through the woods and back home. There are also many other walks (uphill and down dale) accessible without a car. The proprietors were lovely and were on hand should you need anything (not that we did). One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

Immaculately clean on arrival with the bonus of a useful welcome pack. The only minor issue was the lack of a baking tray but everything else was perfect with excellent quality fixtures and fittings in a very pleasant location. Highly recommended
