Excellent for a quiet break but within easy reach of Cambridge and the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. Also quick access to the M11 and London.

We had a nice stay here, cottage fully equipped and clean and tidy. Easy access to Cambridge by both bus and car, Great nature walk very close by. Owners friendly and helpful. Our only problem was that it is very close to the owners house and they have two large dogs who my husband was fearful of, I found them friendly. Good nearby take away for good food. Local pub very noisy and brash, not for us.

We enjoyed our stay at Acorn, we saw it was smaller than we were used to in the pictures and this was the case. The owners were pleasant and friendly and the cottage was mostly well equipped. The wi-fi signal was good but the bedroom was upstairs and the toilet downstairs, the living room also shared the same space as the kitchen. The location of the cottage is very good for visiting the local attractions and the town has several food outlets and a large Morrisons close by, avoid the local pub as it is noisy and brash. The town has lots of local walks in a surprising amount of countryside.

Stayed Monday to Friday. Lovely place, thought of everything. Bus stop outside, good pub and shops within easy walk. Really enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at the Acorn for a fortnight whilst my Mother was in Papworth Hospital. It turned out to be just perfect: clean, quiet and with all one could reasonably expect in the way of amenities in the cottage. Although the location is wonderfully peaceful with the main sound being from the numerous birds in the adjacent woods, there is a large supermarket (Morrisons) and other shops a few minutes away. It is also just a short drive to Papworth so ideal for hospital visiting. In short, I couldn't have asked for more and would certainly be back if I am in the area.
