There’s a great choice of holiday cottages in the Forest of Bowland and by using the extensive feature list you can easily find your perfect one such as rural but walking distance to a pub, enclosed garden if taking young children or pets, private hot tub or one of our luxury collection, the choice really is yours.

There’s no better place than here to escape busy everyday life in some of the most peaceful and unspoilt walking, riding and cycling country. With great expanses of sky bordering open, wild moorland contrasting with gentle lowland anda patchwork of dry stone walls, pretty farm and villages which are just waiting to be discovered.

Chipping has over 100 years of history and is mentioned in the Domesday Book and Slaidburn, with a quintessential village green beside the River Hodder, has a charming pub, Hark to Bounty, named after the squire’s favourite hound.
