The neighbours were helpful and my mother took the opportunity to chat with them. We found good pubs in Reedham and Cantly and the local shop opens 8am – 8pm. The local railway station is a 15 minute walk, which makes it a viable alternative for getting to Norwich, Lowestoft and Yarmouth. Although travel would be restricted without a car. In May when we visited, there was plenty of public parking for us, opposite the house. In conclusion, we had a lovely holiday in Yare Cottage.

From the moment we walked in this felt like home. The amount of equipment provided was impressive - hand blender for instance - and there were some great touches such as the touch lights on the headboards of the bunkbeds which my little uns loved. There were even some games such as dominoes, connect 4 etc to keep them occupied. There are 2 TVs, both with inbuilt DVDs, very comfortable, warm beds and plenty of storage. Parking is available right outside the cottage, as is the river Yare.

Our second stay at Yare Cottage, has everything you would want with perfect location overlooking the river and lovely views. Reedham has two pubs both serving good food, we found everyone very friendly. We would recommend Yare Cottage and are looking forward to booking again next year.

Yare Cottage is a lovely, comfortable cottage with everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. In terms of cleanliness, it was immaculate. The location is beautiful, with stunning views of the river from the front garden and master bedroom/living room windows. Reedham itself is a pretty little village with a couple of nice pubs, a post office/café and a fish & chip shop, and you can enjoy very pleasant walks by the river, watching the boats go by. It is only a 25-minute drive from Great Yarmouth, where there is lots to do for families (Pleasure Beach, aquarium, model village, crazy golf, donkey rides, plenty of shops and restaurants). We also enjoyed lovely days out in Cromer and Wroxham. As we shared with another couple, it was excellent value for money. The owner of the cottage, Tony, was so kind and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. He came to fix the TV when it wasn't working properly (and replaced it with a brand new one on the same day!), and even arranged for the return of my son's cuddly rabbits which were accidentally left behind! All in all, we had a great holiday, and I couldn't recommend this cottage, and its owners, highly enough!

Yare cottage was a nice place to stay, but there was no washing line to hang clothes and the TV did play about a lot. And one of he's neighbours was rude. But Tony the owner was very good. I would recommend this cottage to be by the river was good and the two pubs and little shop were also good. And i recommended the local fish and chip shop. Plenty to do in Norfolk.

This is a lovely cottage in a picturesque part of the Norfolk Broads. The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are well equipped. As another has already said, it could do with a dvd player in the lounge. A few niggly things like a blown bulb and loose fittings did not deter the overall stay which was extremely comfortable and somewhere we would not hesitate to use again.

Yare cottage is a lovely quaint little cottage with lovely views over the river and surrounding countryside. Peaceful location with one pub at the moment. Only downside is the distance you have to travel to a main shop.
