Ty Canol is small and painfully basic... no books/games, no internet, and incredibly weirdly, no maps of the local area - in an area with few road signs (we left our map there so hopefully there is one now!) It smelt of dogs, damp, and rancid cooking fat (cooker hood needs changing badly).

Lovely little cottage. Very clean and so well equipped. It is remote but that is just what we wanted. Really enjoyed our stay.

Ideal if you want to get away from it all. Quiet and remote. The weather was not great all the time, but you feel so cosy and protected when it is blowing a gale out there

Lovely setting and ideal as a base for exploring the area. The cottage is well equipped and super clean. We did feel that the bedroom opposite the bathroom smelled a bit damp as some other reviewers have said however we didn't use that room and for us the cottage was perfect. We would definitely stay again!

A rural location to get away from it all. A pleasant place to stay in a beautiful part of the country.
