Beautiful cottage wonderful location , as a pet owner the garden was amazing for our dog . We went for a peaceful holiday which on the whole we had the only negative , which I stress was nothing to do with the cottage or host was that as the cottage us attached there were a few times when the neighbours were a little noisy. The first night they had a jazz practice which was loud and they seemed to move furniture a lot. However two bridge cottage itself was wonderful warm and clean and the host Nick was very welcoming.

The cottage is in a good location and is well equipped. Unfortunately during our week the shower in the ensuite was not working, and there was at times a horrible smell of drains. The cold water supply in the main bathroom was inadequate. This was disappointing as we had purposely booked a cottage with two bathrooms. Having said that, the beds were very comfortable. The owner who lives next door was extremely apologetic but was unable to solve the problems while we were there.

This is our third visit to Two Bridge Cottage and as usual we had a lovely holiday. We find the cottage and its location fit the bill for our ideal family break. We had no expectations of sunshine as we left home to travel to Somerset however on route the sun came out and the weather remained fantastic all week, dry and sunny. We have a Cocker Spaniel who swam in the sea for the first time and a young Grandson who spent hours digging and making sand Castles on the beach The cottage is great to come back to after a visiting the coast, warm, with dog friendly garden and a safety gate on the bedroom door, the high latches on the doors kept our toddler grandson safe and prevented him climbing the stairs. We will be back soon.

Beautiful cottage, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely location for walks. The owners have obviously taken time and trouble to ensure the cottage is everything you could want for a relaxing stay. The only minor negative would be that the neighbours could be somewhat noisy from time to time.

We were thrilled when we arrived at the cottage. It was even better than described. Very cosy and comfortable and all the amenities we needed. The owners contact with us was by phone and covered all bases. We would definitely recommend to anyone although would prefer to keep it a secret.

Had a good weeks break, unable to do much walking as fields were wet, good old UK weather. Still lots to see and do once you do your homework. The donkey sanctuary In Sidmouth is a must. Most of the local pubs are dog friendly.

An idyllic spot from which we explored Somerset, Devon and Wiltshire. Our second trip to the cottage and it didn't disappoint. Can't wait to go back.....

This cottage is located in a very rural location approached via one track lanes. It is a nice sized cottage with lovely gardens and it is in a very quiet lane, nearest pub/shop 1.5 miles away, shop is not very well stocked. There were a couple of things that could have been better, the TVs is on the wall above the fireplace and it gives you a sore neck looking up at it, and there were no soft drink glasses so you had to use a mug. WIFI IS A MUST. Especially being stuck out in the sticks and trying to look for things to do in the area. The mobile phone reception is a bit hit and miss to. So not very good if you need to get in touch with anyone whilst you are away. The main issue we had was the noise from the next door neighbours, they have young children and wooden floors and at time the telly shook, so be prepared.

Great cottage excellent value good rural location. However could not put up with the marching band living next door or the music night they held for 3 hours of organ music and the terrible destruction of Carpenters and Cliff Richard songs. Singing would have been more suited to scaring birds off crops. Without the noisy neighbours would have been ideal holiday base and we would have returned again.
