Comfortable stay. Clean and well equipped. A cycle path/walk straight into centre of Newton Stewart right from the drive. Wouldn't hesitate to use again. The owner is lovely and is available if needed.

Very nice looking place, lovely host and very welcoming! Wifi didn't work in our cottage, and would have appreciated more than one roll of toilet paper as we were there for a week, also more than one bin bag as well as I found it ridiculous that when I asked for some the response was we give enough to get you started then people tend to provide there own. I understand that it's self catering but I would have thought toilet roll might have been included considering the price. A personal dislike was that I took an allergic reaction to the soap powder used on linen and towels, it left my body and worst of all my face in a stingy sore rash, this of course will not be an issue for everyone but certainly made me feel uncomfortable! Overall a nice stay and lovely views from the cottage.

Such a fantastic find I'd like to keep this place a secret so I can visit again. Was everything we could ask for in a holiday home and such a welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful location, especially as we had a dog with us.

Very welcoming and helpful host who couldn't do enough for us, this is a beautiful place to stay with stunning views. From your bed you can see the stars, and only the sounds of tweeting and bleating can be heard. Comfortable and cosy.
