Having stayed in many self catering properties over the years, thought this property was over priced as it was compact and you can't even count the sleeping area as a proper bedroom and lack of space for clothes. A dishwasher for two but no oven seems pointless. A combi microwave isn't a replacement for an oven. If we hadn't gone out every day I would have soon got fed up with the building work directly opposite. Wi-fi didn't work and washbasin still leaked onto floor.loungers tatty and broken as was one window catch. Was aware of issues re bed and stairs beforehand so accepted that. Only plus point was the shower which worked well and remained at set temperature.

As described, it is a nice, tiny cottage with the smallest masterbedroom we' ve ever seen. ( but we slept good in it.) Well equiped and in a lovely location. We admired the view from the terrace.

Great area - lots of places to visit within a short drive and many walks around the village. The negative with the property is the narrow, steep staircase to the sleeping area, which has a very low ceiling and very low bed. OK for youngsters but more challenging for older people!

Lovely small cottage, well equipped, but bedroom very small with low beams and no clothes storage space. The main room plenty of space with a well thought out kitchen attached. The walks from the door were brilliant, includes an easy walk to the Blackboys pub for excellent food.

I stayed at the Cowstall in April 2016 with my 2 black labradors! It was fantastic. Although small the Cowstall has everything you need, including a great shower, Sky TV, a hairdryer plus all the normal mod coms you would expect!!! It is very clean and tidy and so homely. The surrounding countryside is FANTASTIC. The dogs and I walked for miles, there are so many public footpaths close by and great walks from the front door. I would love to return as I soooo enjoyed my time there.
