This well-furnished, semi-detached cottage offers the perfect ‘get away from it all’ retreat but provides easy access to transport links to enjoy the abundance of delightful places to visit. A short drive away is historic Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket for a day at the races. The beach at Felixstowe is 30 minutes away, whilst the Suffolk coastal resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh are within an hour’s drive. Café 200 yards. Shop 50 yards, pub/restaurant 200 yards.

    Excellent accommodation. Clare and Gary we're very friendly and helpful. Plenty of information regarding the area provided. Made to feel very welcome. Would definately recommend it to friends and hope to return there sometime in the future.

    A lovely comfortable cottage. The location was peaceful in the owners back garden it has the advantage of being detached so no noisy neighbours. The bed and seating were very comfortable. There are pubs, shops, train station and bus service within a very short walking distance. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

    Lovely place to stay. Owners very welcoming and helpful. Couldn't do enough to help us. Super garden and outlook. Enjoyed watching squirrels burying nuts in lawn. Very relaxing.

    We stayed for a week (18th - 25thAugust 2017) and found it to be just as described and more. The owners were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable. It was a great base to explore the local area and the local amenities were good particularly the proximity to the railway station which gave easy access to nearby towns.
