Pros: We received a friendly welcome and nice cake from the owner. The house was in a good position for walking and sightseeing the surrounding area. There was a good selection of cooking utensils and pans. The ample (shared) back garden was good for ball games and sitting out in the sun. It was nice having the adult room upstairs and the child's room and separate toilet downstairs as it meant we didn't disturb each other. Cons: I thought the general level of cleanliness could be improved. The bedding was clean but other areas were lacking. The vacuum cleaner had seem better days. The upstairs bedroom would benefit from a pair of curtains. There was only a blind and when it became daylight it was hard to carrying on sleeping. The shower lacked power, it was either colder and faster or hotter and slower. There wasn't much storage in the kitchen for food supplies because of the range of cooking/eating equipment.
