Everything we needed, and friendly and helpful assistance. Near sea world and Halen Mon. Later definitely worth a visit. Lovely local beaches.

This was a comfortable, well located cottage in the countryside. It is quiet and secluded, so go with what you need. The cottage was clean and tidy when we arrived, we even had a cake waiting for us (which was very tasty). You cannot get a good mobile or internet signal there; there is no wifi. You can get a couple of bars of 4G. The double bedroom and bed are comfortable; the two singles on the ground floor are comfortable and the room large. Our two sons liked it a lot, especially as they had their own ground floor toilet to use. The bathroom and shower are excellent. The washing machine is great and in good weather our washing dried out really quickly. The kitchen/dining area/living room are one room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to eat/dine. I might take a sharp kitchen knife next time, but nothing else. The beds were all made up and duvets were provided; we took ours but never used them. I would leave them at home next time. Our sons loved running around the garden and we were visited by the farm cats on several occasions; our last day even had a visiting Chicken! It is ideally located to explore Anglesey and North Wales! From crossing the Menai Bridge, you will be there 10 minutes later. There is a lovely beach (Newborough) 10 minutes west and it costs £4 for all day parking there; Plus Newydd is 10 minutes east. Holyhead is 20 minutes north and Beaumauris Castle is 20 minutes east. I would return to this cottage again; I'm not bothered that the kids complained of no wifi! I could get enough 4G to access the web if i needed to. I didn't want to. A great cottage and the owner is very welcoming; she's nearby if you need anything and will be there at the start and end of your stay. One to go to!
