This is a very large house which would suit a family. The French doors in the living room give a good view into the large garden. We took our own bird feeder and food which gave us hours of entertainment as there was a large variety of species locally. There are neighbouring homes on both sides of the cottage but nothing directly behind, and there is loads of off road parking. The owners only supply hand towels so make sure to take larger ones with you (the owner did pre warn us). Also there was only a small supply of dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll etc. I only mention this as other cottages we have stayed in have supplied enough to cover your stay and this surprised us. Overall this is comfortable holiday home in an area that is great for walking and fabulous wildlife in amazing scenery.

We stopped at tall pines years ago, but the changes the new owners have made are fantastic. The location is great the accommodation is big enough to take 8 people with out feeling, you are on top of each other. The kitchen must be the best equipped one we have ever stopped in. We stopped in winter and it was really warm, we will be booking for next year.
