What a lovely place to spend Christmas week, our party was 16 +4 dogs. The manor had plenty of room for us all and was well equipped with the exception of plastic beakers for the children and we could not get the microwave to work. we were lucky with the weather and was able to walk the dogs around the village and Ullswater & Windermere. The local pub served lovely food and had a lovely atmosphere. The children enjoyed the local playground. I would recommend Strickland Manor for large get togethers, it was warm and welcoming and the large beer fridge in the games room came in very handy.

Strickland Manor had everything we needed for our short team away break. Each bedroom has ensuite which helped enormously with a mixed gender group. facilities were exceptional as we cooked as a group and all in all couldn't fault it. Would definitely stay again.

Suited our group of friends with location close to northern lakes. The property was very good and a couple of problems we had were quickly sorted out.

12 of us went to Strickland Manor for a family weekend, we found our way there very easily with the directions provided and found the Manor was even better than the pictures, every room was upto expectation not a bad one in the house, the younger ones in the group loved the games room, all the equipment was of a high standard and it was spotlessly clean, it is in a nice quiet spot and very private, the pub in the village is spot on we had a lovely sunday dinner there. The Manor is not cheap but worth every penny and with 12 of us it made it affordable, if I had the money I would love to spend a longer holiday at it
