Had a wonderful week. Exceptional views. Didn't bother with TV at all - too nice looking out to sea.

Great location, with views over the beach and bay, and right on the coast path. Particularly like the under-floor heating in the bathroom but the rocking chair in the bedroom is simply superfluous and always in the way - there's nowhere to 'lose' it to. Despite a few such little niggles I'm sure we'll be back there again!

Lovely stay, it was advertised that there was a pub within 1 mile there definitely isn't so bit disappointing plus not where to eat in village everywhere was driving distance as most places shut.

Fabulous location, we thoroughly enjoyed our week in January on the Cornish coast. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well designed. Locally not a lot of amenities around (particularly given the time of year, which we expected). However local fish & chip shop open one evening a week and there were plenty of restaurants etc open in the nearby larger towns. I hope to return to here in the future, the value for money 'out of season' is outstanding ! Thank you.

An immaculate, cozy cottage with amazing views and walking distance to the beach and cliff top walks. The owner, Ross, was very helpful as there were issues with the wifi at first, but Ross kept us updated with the problem until it was resolved. Would definitely go back to Seacharm.

Great location and sea views would have given 10 out of 10 for cottage if the broadband was working as it was out of action for the week we stayed there.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; I would like to apologise to this guest and anybody else that has stayed at Seacharm recently. It has taken me three weeks and three separate visits by BT engineers to resolve the problem. As I'm sure you will all agree, it is very frustrating trying to get things done with BT. I do hope it didn't affect your stay too much.

This was our 2nd visit to Seacharm and it did not disappoint. The location is perfect for a relaxing break away from the crowds. There is a local shop and hotel but unfortunately the fish and chip shop was closed this time but this is the same in most of the smaller seaside locations out of season. The cottage was cosy, clean and comfortable but on this visit the Wifi did not work at all. The only other comment I would like to make is that there were rather a lot of cobwebs and dead insects in the velux window above the kitchen. I appreciate the windows are very high but it would look better if they were removed. Thanks again for a super week in a fab location!

Lovely cottage situated above the beach. The sea was gorgeous to swim in, even at the end of September and I could walk back to the cottage without having to change out of my costume! Gorran Haven is a pretty village although there is no pub! It was lovely to have a pint of milk in the fridge as well as a good supply of tea bags, sugar and coffee on arrival, as well as various cleaning supplies. The bed was comfortable and it was so quiet at night - only the lapping of the small waves as the tide came in! However, cleanliness wasn't brilliant: there were cobwebs around all of the windows, in particular the skylight above the kitchen. There were also a number of flies upstairs - we had to buy fly spray to get rid of them - not sure why they were there. Also there was a slight damp smell in the bedroom, despite opening the windows for fresh air. But this wouldn't put me off going back to stay there. There is a village car park which we had to pay for - but they did us a weekly permit so it was easy to come and go.
