We spent a fantastic week at Rustys cottage. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished and I would have happily lived in it! It has some great features because of it being converted from kennels, I loved the arched doorways. The log stove was great and provided lots of heat. We were provided with enough logs to last our stay which we were extremely impressed with as often you just get an initial bag and then have to buy more when you run out. The kitchen was very well equipped and the light poured in through the sky light window. The bathroom with its walk in shower was great. The bedroom was a lovely size and had plenty of storage. I often find holiday lets don't have enough storage but Rustys cottage had so much we didn't even use it all. It was also a bonus to find a TV/DVD player in the bedroom so when the football was on I was able to watch a film in bed! The cottage was spotlessly clean. Towels, tea towels, dish cloths etc were all provided and the welcome pack was a real treat too. The owners were lovely really pleasant people who offered lots of help and were on hand should you need anything but were not at all intrusive. Location is great, just a short drive to the Park and Ride into York, shopping parks and cinema and very close by is Stamford Bridge with a range of take aways and a co-op. I would recommend this cottage to anyone considering it and have already been encouraging friends and family to visit. You won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful break at Rusty's Cottage. Tim and Sally have done a fantastic job renovating a derelict building into a stunning cottage.

Lovely cottage in peaceful picturesque surroundings. Owners, Sally & Tim are very friendly and informative. The welcome pack was a real treat. Cottage was very well equipped with every last thing thought of and the extra touch of supplying a map and pointing out places of interest and back roads to avoid traffic and get the best scenic routes. Decor was beautiful and everything was spotlessly clean. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend.

What a find!!Superb cottage in peaceful rural location. The "neighbours" were very quiet but entertaining!! We had a fantastic holiday with glorious weather and good food - try the Sunday roast at the "Three Cups" in Stamford Bridge. The owners, Sally and Tim were extremely helpful with suggestions of picturesque places to visit and back roads to get the best views. A visit to Eden Camp is a must! We are going back in 2017!

Rusty's Cottage exceeded our expectations by, the owners Tim and Sally a very helpful, hospitable couple who welcomed us and told us all that we needed to know, with regard to the amenities in the Cottage. Nothing was too much trouble to make us feel welcome. The Cottage was spotlessly clean, well furnished and the view from the Lounge/Dining Room was really special. There were 2 Ponies (they liked bread) a couple of Sheep and Chickens to see every day. Plus the Birds that came to the table on the Patio for their share!! The Bedroom was very comfortable and beautifully presented as was the Shower/ toilet room. The Kitchen was very well equipped, in fact everything was there for our use. All in all we couldn't fault anything about the Cottage and hospitality. We hope to spend another week there next year. we send our regards and thanks to Sally and Tim , From Mick & Diane From Suffolk
