We had a great week at this cottage, which is well equipped and clean. It is ideally placed for exploring the area and we did some mountain biking, white water rafting and walked up Snowdon. The cottage is attached to the owners property and on a working farm but it feels private and the owners were very friendly. The property is centrally heated with lots of hot water, and has a well equipped kitchen and a games room for those indoor hours. The rooms are spacious.

Our hosts were lovely and the location was beyond perfect. The reason for my rating is that the bed was really hard and uncomfortable and so was the sofa. Other than that it is a perfect place.

What a wonderful place to stay! We absolutely loved the farm walk, the cottage was cozy and comfortable, and the hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful beyond expectation. Everything we needed was available and every question we had was answered promptly. We were close to the village and a short drive took us to the Sherpa bus and train so that we could explore the region without driving too much. The house is a classic farmhouse and not too congested with knick knacks, so I did not have to be concerned with the kids breaking anything. It was clean, had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We had a fire every night and woke to the sight of sheep in the gorgeous green fields every morning. Quiet & beautiful surroundings; Excellent hosts. The kids were very happy as well. The hosts invited them out to play and use their zipline and it was one of the highlights of their stay.
