Wonderful place to escape to and a lovely cottage. I even took a few days out of my week at the cottage and overall sightseeing holiday just to stay at the cottage to read and relax, it was one of the highlights of my 6 week holiday. My mistake that it didn't have wifi but did manage to find some cafes that did. Also not being from the UK it took me a couple of days to figure out how to use the TV. Would be good to fix the toilet seat if possible. Would definitely stay again if I ever get the chance.

Loved this cottage. Everything you need is provided, it is warm and the twin beds are comfortable. The location is just magical. With the window open you can lie in bed and listen to the waves. There is a suntrap of a patio looking out over the cove. A twenty minute walk takes you to the enchanting harbour town of Mevagissey which is a photographer and foodies paradise.

Simply stunning location. The cottage well appointed with everything one could possibly need. Although not huge the cottage is laid out to maximise the space so it never felt small. Amazing that Puffin Burrow exceeded our expectations.

Had a very pleasant Christmas holiday at Puffin Burrow very relaxing ,comfortable and cosy the only downside of the cottage is that the fridge needed to be a bit bigger however it wasn't a problem. All the utensils that you would need we're there and more.Lovely peaceful location to boot what more could you ask for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the rocks...It ticked our boxes for wanting to be right beside the sea! The cottage itself was great for the 2 of us and we even had a mobile signal!

Lovely dog friendly cottage with a complete sea view and nothing in front to oscure the view! There is a separate little table and 2 chairs right outside your window which is safe for your dog as they are behind the sea wall (but humans can still see over the top when seated!) and also 2 chairs down the steps on a little terrace shared with the cottage next door which was never a problem. The actual cottage is very clean and cozy and was bigger than I expected. Lovely furnishings and a comfy sofa and small dining table, fully equipped kitchen and a large bedroom upstairs with nice bedding. It was a nice touch to find a large vase of flowers in the kitchen on our arrival and some milk in the fridge. The owner was very friendly and helpful when I called for the key code a few days before and sent me directions to the cottage which were spot on! Great days out to Fowey, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Lizard peninsula as not been to that region before. Mevagissey itself was a pretty fishing village with lots of good dog friendly restaurants/pubs (10-15 minutes walk and there is also The Rising Sun 2 minutes walk from the cottage in Port Mellon. Met people in other cottages who were on their 9th and 15th visit!
