Returned to Pebbles after a 5 year absence. As good as the first stay. Excellent location and lovely clean.

We really loved the cottage. Very clean and again the pics don't forget it justice. If there were at gripes it is that I found the mattresses too soft and the shower could be more powerful. Other than that..we enjoyed our stay very much and loved the location. .very handy for a coastal Cliff walk.

Pebbles was an incredibly lovely cottage to stay in. The pictures in the advertising do not do it justice at all as it appears much smaller than it is and doesn't show off the endless views. It was spacious, clean, stocked with standard home items, and placed in a breathtaking location. We had a wonderful short stay and found the home comforting and relaxing. We definitely recommend it to families with young children as the home came furnished with a travel cot and highchair.

Enjoyed our stay. Problem with contacting owner would have been good to have the key safe code in the booking email as we had to guess it! House was warm and comfortable and tv package gave us access to lots of extra channels for the evenings. Portland had lots to do even in February and some lovely views.

Pebbles was comfortable, easy to find and located close to essential amenities. Pleased to discover that the parking space is in from the of the garage next door, and so off the road. Word of warning - the cottage is on a very narrow and very steep road so not good for those who are less mobile.

We had a really lovely stay at pebbles. The cottage is on a very narrow steep Road, which wouldn't be suitable for everybody. the cottage was so nice and cosy and we loved Portland. We found a few great places to eat and the drive to Portland bill was lovely too. The beach is very quiet and great for all year round dog walking. We would definitely book again.

This was our first stay in Portland. It is a lovely place with plenty to see and do and just a short drive to visit Weymouth and Poole. Pebbles cottage is ideally placed for walking or driving to local attractions. Although be warned the entrance to the little street the cottage is on is very narrow! The owner was very helpful over the telephone and advised us on local amenities. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The local pub, which is within waking distance and on the sea front, serves beautiful food - but you must book in advance to get in! If I had any gripes it would be that the mattress in the double room was quite uncomfortable and almost every spring could be felt. It would benefit from a new mattress or at least a mattress topper. The local beach dog friendly and is beautiful but it is worth noting that it is a pebble beach and the sea here is extremely rough and not suitable to swim in. We didn't see anyone on the beach but fishermen the whole time we were there. Although if you dive I believe there are plenty of ship wrecks to see.

Pebbles is a lovely house to stay in, with all the mod cons you need. Yes, we would have liked a bit more 'sitting outside' space, preferably which caught a bit more of the sun. The courtyard is North facing and surrounded by high walls so doesn't get much sun. The house is almost at the bottom of a steep hill so going down to the sea front is an easy five minute walk, but going to the shops (up the hill) was certainly a 'puff' for me, which meant that the younger members of our party had the task of shopping, fetching the paper and the superb fish n chips in the evening. We enjoyed our stay at Pebbles, with its easy commute into Weymouth - ten minute drive or twenty minute bus ride. I would describe it as, comfortable & quaint.
