Pebbles was comfortable, easy to find and located close to essential amenities. Pleased to discover that the parking space is in from the of the garage next door, and so off the road. Word of warning - the cottage is on a very narrow and very steep road so not good for those who are less mobile.

This was our first stay in Portland. It is a lovely place with plenty to see and do and just a short drive to visit Weymouth and Poole. Pebbles cottage is ideally placed for walking or driving to local attractions. Although be warned the entrance to the little street the cottage is on is very narrow! The owner was very helpful over the telephone and advised us on local amenities. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The local pub, which is within waking distance and on the sea front, serves beautiful food - but you must book in advance to get in! If I had any gripes it would be that the mattress in the double room was quite uncomfortable and almost every spring could be felt. It would benefit from a new mattress or at least a mattress topper. The local beach dog friendly and is beautiful but it is worth noting that it is a pebble beach and the sea here is extremely rough and not suitable to swim in. We didn't see anyone on the beach but fishermen the whole time we were there. Although if you dive I believe there are plenty of ship wrecks to see.

Pebbles is a lovely house to stay in, with all the mod cons you need. Yes, we would have liked a bit more 'sitting outside' space, preferably which caught a bit more of the sun. The courtyard is North facing and surrounded by high walls so doesn't get much sun. The house is almost at the bottom of a steep hill so going down to the sea front is an easy five minute walk, but going to the shops (up the hill) was certainly a 'puff' for me, which meant that the younger members of our party had the task of shopping, fetching the paper and the superb fish n chips in the evening. We enjoyed our stay at Pebbles, with its easy commute into Weymouth - ten minute drive or twenty minute bus ride. I would describe it as, comfortable & quaint.

A fabulous cottage, perfectly placed for our holiday on the Dorset coast, easy to get to both Lyme Regis and Lulworth. Great for local bus routes to Weymouth and amazingly well equipped.

Our third visit to this lovely cottage and we would definitely like to stay again. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. A perfect base to come back to after a day spent walking the coastal path.

The property was exceptional, very spacious, warm, comfortable and very relaxing. Good layout and nice large table to sit around. High quality equipment. Also nice outside area.
