Great location, kids loved being so close to such a beautiful beach. A lovely part of Wales with plenty of days out and places to visit. A fantastic family holiday was had by all. The house was very well equipped, can't think of a single thing we needed that wasn't provided. Only minor downsides were the outside needed a tidy up after winter weather. Didn't encounter any issues on cleanliness inside the house.

The property was ideal for our six strong family group of three generations; there was space and comfort for all. The owners had provided plenty of toys, games, c.ds etc. which were much appreciated by the four and six year olds. Broad Haven is an ideal location for an energetic family, the superb beach gives plenty of space to let off steam and the coast offers great walking and variety. (Viewing the seals and their pups near Martin Haven was a particular highspot) The resort has a well-stocked general store and the local hostelries were cheerful and thriving. All in all the property suited us very well and we enjoyed a good holiday in much better weather than expected, however, the property's efficient heating was much appreciated in the Autumn evenings.

The positives: Perfect location for a family beach holiday at one of Wales' most beautiful beaches. Lots of bedroom space and great to have a downstairs bedroom. The negatives: Not a clean house - we found old sweet papers and water bottles, lots of hair and dust in the places where it's less obvious, and cobwebs everywhere (including hanging down over the beds). Creaky floorboards that woke everyone up when walked over, across most of the upstairs. No stairgate at the bottom of the stairs (guest info at the house suggested the living room door was sufficient to stop children climbing the stairs, which doesn't work when you have an above-average height toddler who can reach the handle. We had to push the sofa in front of the door, and that's when we found sweet papers and hair/dust under the sofa). Downstairs shower room at other end of house from downstairs bedroom, and step down to the downstairs bedroom. Lots of the cupboards, wardrobes and drawers were filled with books, videos, games etc. - nice to have some of these provided, but left little space for unpacking, particularly in downstairs bedroom and upstairs twin room. Blinds didn't fully cover the skylight windows, so bedrooms were very bright. Furniture and kitchen equipment was much poorer quality than most places we've stayed, despite this being one of the most expensive. Some of this may seem like nit-picking, but the creaky floorboards, bright bedrooms and poor standard of cleaning would stop us staying here again. We'd definitely visit Broad Haven again though - beautiful!
