This was an excellent cottage , in a great location and equipped to a high standard. Its proximity to Alnwick made it a perfect centre for touring.Excellent restaurants and pubs in the area, with the added bonus of the coastline so close.Quiet and peaceful location yet within the bustle of a working farm.

this cottage was in a lovely position with great views of the countryside all around but still close to Alnwick with all its shops and the very picturesque castle. The chocolate cake left for us was delicious! The garden next to the house was pretty and good for our dogs.

Paddock Cottage is a great central location for visiting the major coast and inland tourist sites Northumberland has to offer. Well equipped cottage situated on a busy farm with good access to nearby Alnwick and its castle.

Good location on in an attractive working farm environment with decent walking country nearby. We would not recommend the pub in nearby Eglingham. The cottage is well provided with cooking utensils but the electric cooker needs replacing and is difficult to use, some rings are poor and the oven unreliable. The sitting room is large and very comfortable with a good open fire, just the thing for a winter evening after hill walking.
