From a touch of luxury to characterful heritage, experience one of our truly inspiring holiday properties.

A large detached mansion with open fire and games room. Ideal for large gatherings and special occasions. Wonderful views towards the coastline.

Situated between Harlech Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the world class Royal St Davids links golf course, Noddfa has beautiful views of both and the sea beyond. The current detached mansion has a history dating back 250 years, and was protected by the castle garrison. However the distinctive frontage of the house was added in 1850 by Samuel Holland MP and retains much of the Victorian character and splendour, with high ornate ceilings and a bell tower. The fully refurbished holiday accommodation comprises entrance hall, dining room with table for 20, drawing room with views over the links, cinema room, games room real fire, large farmhouse kitchen and cloakroom. On the first floor there are four double bedrooms, three twin bedrooms and one bunk, all of which are en-suite. Charming gardens surround the property with ample parking. Harlech is an attractive town with a theatre, a magnificent sandy beach with safe bathing and good restaurants and shops. Portmerion, Ffestiniog railway and Snowdon are all within a short drive. Golf can also be found nearby. Shops ½ mile, pub 300 yards.

Large drawing room. Dining room. Well-equipped kitchen with gas range (for cooking) and slate floor. Cinema room. Games room with open fire. Cloakroom. Separate toilet. First floor: Two double bedrooms, each with en-suite shower room and toilet. Two further double bedrooms, each with additional single bed (for +1) and en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and toilet; one with additional camp bed (for +1), one with low, beamed ceiling. A lovely property that is ideally suited for large groups. Would definitely recommend to others and we will hopefully be returning again.

There were 14 of us, all former students of Coleg Harlech, which is just across the road from the Noddfa. We had all been to many previous reunions together, but this was the first where we booked the accommodation and shared the catering among us. Our mid-week break at Noddfa went splendidly, and a key part of that was the marvellous rooms downstairs which allowed us to socialise and cook together and get on famously. The owner, Linda Soar, met us when we arrived and was there to see us off at the end. She was charming and helpful and the Noddfa was clean and well maintained. We would certainly make a return visit.

We had a fabulous holiday with our six grown up children plus partners and guests ending up with 15 of us in great comfort. The views were great, changing every day, we made great use of the facilities and our cinema nights were brilliant. Local shops were handy as were all the facilities of Harlech. Now the bridge is open you can be in Porthmadog in 20 mins. Noddfa is a very spacious comfortable house with everything you need for a great holiday with a large number of guests. The owners left a lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. They are now working hard to improve the property which can only make it even better. Very ample parking, easy to find and convenient amenities.

Everything was brilliant and Linda was a fantastic host. We enjoyed our long weekend and it was nice to have our large group in one place and there's plenty of activities nearby to keep everyone entertained.

Noddfa is an excellent place to stay and I would totally recommend it. Some of the rooms are a little dated and the owners are in the process of redecorating between lettings. The rooms which have been completed are to a good standard. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cater for your party. The highlight of the property is the cinema room which is just like having your own private picture house. There is not much of a garden but there is room to sit outside and across the road there is a long sandy beach banked by dunes. The owner is very helpful. My party were in Snowdonia for a walking holiday and this was a perfect location.

Enjoyed. Impressed with forward thinking if the owner. Excellent kitchen facilities and opportunities for kids to play. We would revisit again
