This is our second stay in the property and it is everything they advertise; spacious, well equipped, modern, fun and relaxing. The swimming pool is perfect for the children, especially on cold days, as is the cinema room. There is ample parking and it's only a short walk into town. We did notice that the property is getting a little tired and in need of a 'spruce up' in certain areas where skirting boards are coming off, and bath panels detaching. It also needs a deep clean to get rid of the cobwebs in the high ceilings and marks on the walls. Attention to detail really, to make it worth the money they charge. That said, we will definitely return again soon.

We had a really good time and enjoyed the house, especially the pool and games room. Good to have games and toys around the house and in the pool area. I did feel that for that amount of money, soap could have been provided in the bathrooms and possibly a few more things (eg garlic press!) in the kitchen, which abounds in empty cupboards! And I think the house would benefit by having a couple of doormats - one by the pool door and one by the main door! Although we were fortunate to have lovely weather we wouldn't have wanted to bring in extra dirt! When we had a problem with the lights fusing, the caretaker at the other end of the phone was easy to contact and the situation was quickly remedied.

The locals say that in Buxton it is either beautiful and sunny or raining, and, indeed, it does seem to be so. Unfortunately, we had three sunny days only, but the amenities at the house are of the highest quality. Our four grandchildren, aged 6, 4, 3 and 10 weeks, had a wonderful time, and so did the parents and grandparents, because we were never struggling with what to do. We visited all the children's hot spots, such as Gulliver's Kingdom, Heights of Abraham, Crich Tramway Museum, the Monsal Trail, Chatsworth House and the superb park in Buxton.

lovely place. the pool was great. only minor downside is that there are a few places where it is easy to bang your head on sloping roofs

Absolutely gorgeous house that we all loved. Clean, spacious, modern and the kids loved the swimming pool, cinema room, games room and consoles. It rained the whole week we were in Buxton but it didn't matter as there was plenty to do inside the house!! We have already recommended the house to several friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay. Ideal for our family aged 70-3 years old. Only down side I cut my foot badly on the pool steps, luckily it wasn't my 3 year old grandson.

All 12 of us had a fabulous time. The swimming pool was especially popular and the Cinema Room and Games Room provided a variety of entertainment for our mixed age group. (7 - 70yrs). The common request from everyone was "when can we come back again?".
