    A stunning location and beautiful Barn conversion, very comfortable and very well equipped. Ground floor bedroom and en suite wet room ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Our week away was superb with temperatures around 25 C all week. Can't wait to visit again. Owner James very helpful.

    If you want to get away from it all and "chill out" this is the place for you. Lovely location, stunning scenery and a beautiful barn conversion. Okay, no mobile phone coverage but you don't have to go far to get a signal. There is a pub nearby, and many places of interest to visit. We will certainly be going back.

    Wonderful conversion designed to maximise the breathtaking views - including from the terrace. Warm reception with nothing too much trouble for the owner, who lives across the road but who also respects privacy for the period of the rental. Lovely bathrooms. Very comfortable bed. Everything designed to maximise a relaxing holiday.

    The cottage was delightful, and Richard the owner was an exceptional host, many thanks for putting up with us in the lambing shed, when you were so busy. I would recommend this cottage to anyone the facilities were outstanding and the outlook from the cottage a delight.

    A lovely barn conversion if you are happy to be off grid, there is no internet to speak off no mobile phone coverage for within 5 miles of the barn, also TV can cut off to no signal. Owner was friendly and tried to help and supplied a landline, but i think they are aware of the issues and have had them in the pass with other clients. In today's environment you need these items. The barn is great conversion and if you dont need the above then it would be suitable. Also the location is 5 miles from a B grade road. The nearest Spar type shop is in Clun some 20mins drive away and the same for a descent pub

    Response on behalf of the Owner; The recently installed Wi-Fi has had connection problems but these have been resolved allowing smart mobile phones to connect through it as there is no mobile phone signal at the property. The TV had some plant growth in front of the satellite dish stopping the signal, again resolved. The property is 1.5 miles away from the A488 Clun to Knighton road, both towns having several shops and 5 miles in total from the Barn. A very good pub and restaurant, The Baron, is 3.5 miles away (under 10 minutes) at Bucknell. The property may be in a rural setting but it is certainly not “off grid”.
