What a great little cottage! Absolutely loved staying in this place. It has everything you could need from solitude to internet. The cottage is set up on a farm with a very dog friendly environment, and a very warm and welcoming feel. It is situated perfectly for a nice little getaway. You can stay in or get out to the surrounding villages, sites and walks throughout the Peak District. We loved the friendly owners and the sounds of the farm :).

Amazing little cottage. So homely, and in a perfect location for walking with the dogs. Only gripe was the shower, but the offer to use the cottage next door was greatly accepted, and we look forward to returning to use the larger property. Or cottage was perfect for 2 people. Older people may struggle with the spiral staircase. All in all a great place.

Lovely and comfortable cottage in a good area. If taking a dog take note of the spiral staircase. There is no path on the main road for the first 400 yards so you will need to drive or dice with death but that is only a minor sticking point. Only reason for the slightly lower score on equipment was the wifi was out during our stay, this was communicated when we contacted to arrange key collection but was a large factor in choosing this cottage.

a nice clean holiday cottage, very clean and comfortable.only drawback is that it is on a working farm with countryside smells and the view from the cottage is a cow barn.

My husband and I and our two doggies had a lovely bank holiday weekend. Owners although welcoming kept a discreet distance. Cottage was very well equipped, very clean and very comfortable. Was able to walk our dogs on the owners land. Although there is a pub within a very short distance did not want to risk the walk as it was along a busy road which had very very little pathway. Found a pub in Hayfield called the Packhorse. Landlord was extremely welcoming and food was fantastic. Even had a bar for the dogs which they enjoyed emensly
