Description

This holiday property boasts spectacular sea views, and is only 500 yards away from the town of Anstruther.

With magnificent sea views, and ideal for a couple, discover this delightful ground floor holiday apartment, in one of the most historic and picturesque areas of Fife, with pretty fishing villages, beautiful beaches and coves. Situated in the heart of the conservation village of Cellardyke, just a few steps from the shore, explore the quaint wynds and lanes, the old fishing port lined with charming houses, and unspoilt scenery on foot from the front door. The Fife Coastal Path passes through the village towards Crail and St Andrews in one direction, and Pittenweem, St Monans and Elie in the other direction, and there is a regular coastal bus service. From the comfort of the shared south-facing garden, you can wonder at the wildlife, follow the fishermen bringing in their daily catch, or just while away the hours with a good book and a glass of wine. Visit St Andrews 10 miles away, and Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth all within an hour’s drive.

Great wee cottage in a fantastic location. Very clean and well equipped and close to all local amenities. Worth staying just for the view out the back door!

Accommodation clean and well presented and in nice location. Smallish windows so quite dark inside - we felt not so great to spend a lot of indoors time in, may be okay in summer when bright and sunny. On street parking difficult - very few spaces at times. Some equipment in need of replacement. Microwave really on last legs, several pots and pans very worn. Extractor fan in bathroom not working. Main issue was through-ceiling noise from upstairs holiday home. Not good if you had thoughtless neighbours for your week, ours weren't too bad. Upstairs washing machine especially noisy.

This property has to be one of the best we have stayed at in Scotland. We will be booking a two week break this year. We had to park on next doors parking due to no space so check first, dont let this put you off
